Supporting employees' well-being is also an important contribution to the long-term quality of public service.
As part of its social policy, the Ministry of the Interior and Security, through its Human Resources Directorate and Health Services Directorate, organised a free health screening campaign for Ministry staff on 3 and 4 April 2025.
The campaign was conducted at several locations, including the General Directorate of Territorial Administration, the National Police Hospital and the Abidjan Prefecture.
Employees were offered preventive screenings covering several health conditions, including diabetes, high blood pressure and selected viral infections.
Beyond its medical dimension, the initiative reflects a broader vision of human resources management. Supporting an employee throughout their career also means paying attention to health, prevention and the conditions in which professional duties are performed.
Workplace health contributes directly to staff availability, motivation and performance. Preventive initiatives also encourage employees to pay closer attention to their health and seek appropriate medical follow-up when necessary.
Through actions of this kind, the Human Resources Directorate contributes to creating a professional environment in which people remain at the centre of administrative action.
