An HR function built over time

2011

Establishment of the ministerial HR Director role

Decree No. 2011-290 established the cross-cutting framework for human resources within ministries.

2021

Modern organisation of the Ministry

Decree No. 2021-452 forms a major basis for the organisation of the Ministry of the Interior and Security.

2024

Framework update

Decree No. 2024-139 updates the general framework applicable to ministerial human resources directorates.

2026

A renewed ministerial remit

Decree No. 2026-84 defines the responsibilities of Government members and the Ministry’s current remit.
