A significant milestone has been reached in the ongoing modernisation of services within the Ministry of the Interior and Security.
On 4 June 2026 in Cocody, the General Inspectorate of Territorial Administration Services (IGSAT) officially received its ISO 9001:2015 certification, which had been awarded on 17 February 2026.
The certification recognises the implementation of a management system built around quality, organisation, evaluation and continuous improvement.
For a public administration, such an initiative goes well beyond obtaining a certificate. It reflects an evolution in working methods through clearer procedures, improved process management, performance monitoring and a continuous commitment to better service delivery.
During the ceremony, the Minister of the Interior and Security congratulated IGSAT and encouraged other structures within the Ministry to embrace a similar approach based on quality, excellence and measurable performance.
The initiative is also closely linked to human resources management. Administrative transformation requires trained teams, clearly defined responsibilities, shared objectives and a professional culture focused on results.
IGSAT’s certification therefore illustrates the broader transformation of Territorial Administration towards more structured, efficient and citizen-oriented public services.
