The Ministry reports on an awareness tour of several police units to strengthen the fight against drugs.

An awareness tour

From 1 to 5 December 2025, the Interministerial Anti-Drug Committee, the Ethics Advisory Committee and the NGO Espace Confiance toured police units in Port-Bouët, Yopougon, Dabou and Adzopé.

The initiative aimed to improve security forces’ understanding of the legal framework for reducing drug-related harm.

More consistent practices

According to the Ministry’s publication, the mission helped strengthen understanding of the legal framework and cooperation with community stakeholders working in this area.
