A meeting with the Ambassador of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta focused on a project to support the National Civil Protection Office’s capabilities.
Support announced for the ONPC
On 3 December 2025, the Minister of the Interior and Security received the Ambassador of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta to Côte d’Ivoire to review their cooperation.
The Order announced its agreement in principle to support a project to build firefighters’ capacity and assist the National Civil Protection Office with operational disaster management.
Broader prospects
The meeting also explored opportunities to strengthen joint action in health, solidarity and assistance for vulnerable communities.
